So, here is an idea: Olyblog should buy The Olympian. Last weeks reporting about the lay-offs at The Olympian has already resulted in a decrease in local reporting. The New York Times reports today about some grim times ahead for print papers. I'm sure the McClathy Company would be open for negotiations in times like this. This is no hostile takeover, but a daylight dreamers idea of a community taking back it's voice. Err, duh, we don't have any money, duh. Yeah, yeah, I know - I'm not being realistic, just dreaming.... come one.... dream with me a little. Where could we take this?? mathias |
