On the 4th Ave. block between Franklin and Washington streets earlier tonight there were more parked bicycles than parked cars. Maybe what this town needs is a bicycle parking garage. That would help the bicycle parking situation. The adjacent Diamond parking lot was almost empty. If the parking lot operator were to install a bike rack he or she could charge a fee for bike parking.

Capitol Lake

It's beautiful, but I would like to see the lake returned to its original estuarine status.

Tonight while heading to the Wall I happened upon some new sign art on display in front of OFS. Thank you, OFS. It made my walk better. And if there's a way to do this for every movie...yes.

As well, I tried to find out who the artist is in order to give attribution, but the person at the door didn't know. I have my suspicions but if anybody else has fact for OlyBloggers and Olympians, that'd be even better.

Edit: Thank you for the information cupric oxide, and thank you for the art Vince Ryland & Ira Coyne.
