The Moon is amazing again tonight, this is from late last night (Tuesday.)
some more photos from yesterday:
update 3: David Rovics video below, I apologize for the sound, that's the fault of the recording device.
update: 1) more photos below the fold, and 2) the USA has supported corruption in Honduran society with hundreds of millions of dollars, as well as military training at WHINSEC, the former SOA (School of Americas, or "Assassins.")
This is a view of the Moon from the Cherry Street Loft. Last night there was a benefit show to support the Honduran people's resistance to a repressive and corrupt US supported government.
It's a full Moon. Pretty awesome because the full Moon happened at just about the same time as the Autumnal equinox. For the next six months, nights will be longer than days. Here's a song about the Moon, and some photos too.
Hey Everyone, There will be a Lunar Eclipse this Saturday morning, and for observers on the West Coast, it might be an awesome sight (weather permitting of course.) For more information you can check this story on the NASA website here. The eclipse will occur at around 4:30 AM PDST (time corrected—ALSO the eclipse will begin about 45 minutes or an hour prior to 4:30, the time when it will be fullest.) Berd
Here are some photos from the past couple days, including from Percival Landing, Eld Inlet, and around Capitol Lake.
