Hi everyone. You're all invited to the Western Washington Fellowship of Reconciliation Fall Retreat. It's this coming weekend, starting Friday evening. The following text is from the WWFOR:
Marianne Williamson once said that "our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us." This year's Fall Retreat promises to leave you inspired.Western Washington Fellowship of Reconciliation, like other peace and justice organizations, has been affected by the events of the wider world. This year's Fall Retreat will be a time for us to reflect and share our journey both personal and as an organization. We will look at ways to strengthen our fellowship. We will seek to discover and name that creative legacy we hope to leave for our children. We will dream of and - start to design -- a new vision that will energize WWFOR for the future. We stand at a crossroads in our history. Now is the time for us to reclaim the power to change our world. It is time to think outside the box. As Albert Einstein said, "We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them."
Mahatma Gandhi was speaking to us when he said, " You must be the change you wish to see in the world". Bring a friend who is also passionate about building a sustainable peace and justice movement. This year's WWFOR Fall Retreat will empower us to accomplish even more.
