Today I was watching Evening Magazine, and they had a story about "The lost time capsule" at the capitol building. During the introduction to the story, several old clips of historic places around washington were played, including an old 5 second clip of the Olympia Brewery. The clip was shot looking South from the current railroad tunnel on Custer Way. The clip included a train, and people walking across the sky bridge to the main building. Dave King and members of Eco Woodworks will give a live demonstration and present a short film about the basics of wood window restoration. The presentation will include the following:
Repairing weather and dry rot damage
Preventative maintenance
Window Re-glazing
This event will last from 10:00am to Noon with a short break for refreshments. It will also include a brief history of the Bigelow House Museum and a tours of the house.
