I just got a call from Seattle's "World Can't Wait" march in Capital Hill (Seattle neighborhood). Turns out that three people from Oly just got arrested by the Seattle Police Department. The SPD officer #6620, M. Hyra, decided that an anarcho-syndicalist flag is fair game for theft. When the three men objected, they were each thrown to the ground and arrested. Guess it's going to be a long day in Seattle! There's a call for jail solidarity at the East Precinct in Cap Hill.
» Names of the arrested are known, but unpublished at this time pending legal advice on its potential effect in pending, unrelated cases. Shouts to Uncle Jessie, Trotsky, and Jake. |

So far, I have heard that the bail was $1000 for the two men whose bail was not denied - but the King Co Booking system says $0 on the website.
Your insight serves you well, Norm - but bury your feelings deep - they may be made to serve the Emperor. And this kind of thing is just the sort of jury contamination we would not need. From the stories I have heard (within an hour from eye witnesses) the SPD officers were picking the "fight." We'll see if there is video soon enough.
Thanks Drew, that brought a
