PRESS RELEASE: Theater Artists Olympia is at it again! Olympia's most adventurous theater company is tackling Shakespeare's most controversial play, Titus Andronicus. Steeped in blood, passion, revenge (and a big ol' bite of cannibalism), this is the stuff TAO is renowned for, and what it does best. Director pug Bujeaud prides herself on keeping her productions fast paced and vital for the contemporary audience. With that in mind Bujeaud turned to the Hells Angels motorcycle culture as an ultimate example of a modern tribal lifestyle in America. Set in the mid 1970s, at the end of a protracted turf war between the Romans and the Goths, Titus returns triumphant, prisoners in tow, and starts a chain reaction that brings destruction to himself, his family and all that he holds dear. Bold, bloody, and beautiful, Titus is a show that should not be missed.
