Though the sun and heat should have driven most to swimming pools and the beach for the Fourth of July, a few giant robots in Transformers were able to pull their fair share of moviegoers into dark theaters. Taking in $27.9 million over the holiday, Transformers took the title of largest July 4th box office.

I can't wait to go see it

I can't wait to go see it this weekend. I was SUPPOSED to go this past Wednesday. Eh, oh well. Heard it's pretty good though. I'm still having issues with BumbleBee being a Camaro :P

Apparently Bay thought he looked too much like herbie the love bug. Lately I've been hearing though that VW refused to be part of the movie.

Then again, you would have had BumbleBee having electrical problems, O2 sensors failing, his airbag lights out, the check engine light perpetually on, windows jumping track, fuel doors not shutting.

OH wait....that's my VW :)
