I'm starting a small business (consultation business to help non-profits recruit and manage volunteers), and need to build a website.

I'm pretty comfortable with Indesign CS2, and can lay out a very attractive newspaper, but I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to web design, or even how to use FrontPage.  If I could afford it, I'd hire someone to build the site for me.  The truth is, though, that I'm time-rich and cash-poor.

Is there anyone here who could help me get started - maybe offer a decent tutorial or guide me through some of the first steps until I'm comfortable with the software?

P.S.: [Shameless Plug to Follow] I'm getting a TON of support around market research and all the know-how details of business start-up through a class at Enterprise for Equity (E4E). E4E helps low-income people develop business plans, right from drafting a clear and concise business concept statement through to cash-flow planning.  I'd highly recommend this class to any other low-income folk who want to start a business (E4E is funded through grants & donations, so the cost of the class is really affordable).

Phil Owen: Captain of Industry!

I had to do it.

I have access to a pirated copy of dreamweaver if you need it, but I don't know the first thing about that stuff either.
