I saw this weird poster advertising something called "Dynastic Patriarchy" yesterday. I think I have seen one like it before somewhere, but I am not sure. Anyway, it rings a bell. Is this some sort of white supremacist deal? Does anyone have more information about "D.P." or "A.S.I."? I don't want to make an advertisement for something I don't know about. I mean, this could be some sort of violent cult. So, if you know anything about it, please speak up.

Dynastic Patriarchy

This was attached to a light pole at the intersection of Division and Harrison (SE corner to be exact).

Rob

A quick google search of dynastic patriotism has multiple references to Mein Kampf.
»

Impact font lol

I would like to think this is a joke, but when I googled the text of the quote, and then the phrase "dynastic patriotism", the first results were links to the text of Mein Kampf.

Americans For Safe Israel

That's the only ASI I could find. Based on the link I left, they are some pretty mixed up folks and some of their ideas jibe with Mr. H and the Nazi party. Or maybe it's just those crazy Eugene anarchists playing jokes again.

here's a link to a page about AFI

assi??

am i seeing this right?

they be talking about "emerging" and "overcoming" with an picture of 2 dagger weeny things pointed at each other with a white explosion in between..

More information on this

Doing the search and getting the text of Mein Kampf, then actually reading the references, it turns out that "Dynastic Patriotism" was something that Mr. H was against, in favor of nationalistic patriotism. So maybe it's a Nazi group that uses obscure terminology. This is in fact supported by googling "To overcome the existing corruption, and to emerge victorious", without quotes, also leads to two quotes, one just incidental the other one more substantial, from Mein Kampf, this time from a chapter entitled "Propaganda and Organization". Here's the more substantial of them:

"A movement which in a time of majority rule orients itself in all things on the principle of the leader idea and the responsibility conditioned by it will some day with mathematical certainty overcome the existing state of affairs and emerge victorious.

Here's the first quote about Dynasitc Patriotism:

"Pettifogging dynastic patriotism was more acceptable and more easily tolerated than the glowing fire of a supreme national pride. The former could be always pressed into service, whereas the latter might one day become a dominating force. Monarchist patriotism terminated in Associations of Veterans, whereas passionate national patriotism might have opened a road which would be difficult to determine."

Dynastic Patriotism

I don't know what it is, but I think that I don't like it very much. Can any one speak to the beneficial attributes of Dyna. Pat.?

One of them knocked on my door today

They gave me a long rambling pamplet with a buried reference to "blood purity." So. Yeah. Almost definitely Nazis. And apparently it's Nazi recruiting season.
»

Yikes.

I hope they don't decide to canvass my neighborhood.

These sorts of things

These sorts of things *never* happen in my neighborhood. I can't stand it ~ I like to be where the action is!

So I read the stuff more carefully

ASI stands for "American Socialist Intelligence," and based on various references to CPS it would seem that ASI is some weird marriage of old-fashioned Hitleresque philosophy and "fathers' rights." This might just be one crazy-ass dude who lost his kids and went all batsh*t crazy and Nazi-like as a result.
»

Wow.

Thanks for checking in with that information.

Did he say what his political goal was?

When you think of the long and gloomy history of man, you will find more hideous crimes have been committed in the name of obedience than have ever been committed in the name of rebellion. -C.P. Snow

Spoke with one today...

I spoke today (at the front door of Media Island) with a man who was handing out "thousands" of these packets. He gave me one, and left one on the info porch as well.
The packet has a small business card sized thing, except it has no contact information at all (not even a web site or email address) and it is paperclipped to 4 pages, three of which are SORT OF LIKE a press release - only again, there is no normal press release format. There is a PO Box - 1811, Olympia 98507. But there are no names, no phones, no emails, no web page. Favorite quote from card: "Socializing To The People"

The strongest sense I got in speaking with the man was that he was uneducated, probably had been in prison or jail for a long time, and was being "put up to it" by someone who knew more of what was going on. He didn't seem to have it together enough to come up with the packets himself, though to tell the truth there is not much intelligence in the American Socialist Intelligence, judging by their materials.

Dynastic Patriotism is defined as: "A movement of which in a time of majority rule orients itself in all things on the principles of theoretical law and the responsibility conditioned by it will someday with a mathematical certainty overcome the existing corruption and emerge victorious." This is in bold sans serif, and at the top of the first of three pages in the same typeface. A fourth page in italic script in entitled "Americans Violated" and is addressed to "the powers that be:" and seems to focus on investigation of public corruption within CPS in Aberdeen.

At several points it explicitly equates "Marxism" with CPS, and uses CPS as a catch-all for big government caretaking and social control. It speaks in phrases similar to the novel/tract Mein Kampf and repeats phrases such as 'blood purity' and 'secret conventicles' which are hardly to be found in modern American English. It promises that "American Socialsm" will be the "future master of the streets... and eventually the state." That is explicitly fascist in its historical thread (take the streets to take power, destroy the marxists and usurp socialism under an ill-defined doctrine focused on feelings of patriotism).

The man has a black panther's profile tatooed on his left upper arm. He wore sunglasses and looked generally 'redneck' except for his conversation (rare that a redneck talks politics at all, much less of 'the movement.') So is it white supremacist? I'd have to guess that it is not explicitly so, but being run by someone who wants to build a mass base of people who think that way but should not say so, lest they be targeted by "ZOG" and eliminated. So he's a pawn, basically. Someone could write to the PO Box and we could learn more...

»

Hee hee hee...

The guy who introduced me to this fellow just stopped by: Mike, whose phone number is now in my possession, was the fellow who was all about 'the movement.' (No, I don't republish phone numbers - so don't ask.) More later. Stay tuned.

Posters elsewhere too

I asked someone in the ADL if they knew anything about these flyers, they say the flyers have shown up elsewhere in the state too, a few months ago, on light poles, and that they don't know much more than that yet. I passed on the info Drew gleaned.

Any New Information?

This information is now being passed out door to door in Grays Harbor - being from eastern WA, I knew what it was... but this is the only 'net reference that came up from google. Are they actively recruiting or this just someone with a lot of time on their hands?

I haven't seen any posters - but the one pictured above uses the "neo-nazi clip art"

»

I've got nothin'......

....other than what Drew Hendricks told us and what ADL Seattle told me. I don't see any talk of them on public white supremacist boards either. Which probably doesn't mean much.

Thanks for letting us know, door to door in Grays Harbor has gotta be a lot of work, I wonder what they say when people express interest in learning further?

flyering on the westside

A guy of similar description to who Drew talked to just came by our house on the west side handing out flier's. We pressed him for information but couldn't find out anything substantially new. More on family blood purity etc..

He did say though that starting in October there would be rallies or protests in either Olympia or Aberdeen.

Just from looking at the words 'dynastic patriotism', I gather it means something along the line of there being a "pure blood" ruling class or dynasty('The American {white} Family' in this guy's words) which the other classes or families are to be 'patriotic' or subservient to. I wouldn't be surprised if they are just a more ambiguous NSM affiliated or offshoot faction. This guy didn't seem like he knew what he was talking about, but did make it clear that his group was increasing its organizing efforts.

If this actually happens some sort of response from the community would likely be needed. But I guess we wait and see.

Curious

Thank you for update, I am so curious how all this will play out.

October is often a big month for Nazi groups. I don't know if these guys consider themselves Nazis, would like to know more about how they identify themselves. Worth asking them if they are "racialists", some groups identify as racialists and insist that they are not racists.

I wonder also if they eventually will have a web presence, if the flyering is being done as an initiation process, and if this is an independent venture or if they are connected with other groups.

Update on weird posters

The utility pole was eventually cleared of all flyers and it remained unpostered for awhile. Now it has two posters on it again that are taped securely, both are in black and white, in the middle of a circle is the letters "ASI". Nothing else written on the posters.

They/he/she is back after a

They/he/she is back after a long hibernation. What happened to the big event we were supposed to witness in Oly or Aberdeen last October?

I'm betting "A.S.I." stands for: Aryan Symbionese Individual. If anyone catches this person putting up a poster, and has the ability to photograph the act, it will probably be enpen.

This is creepy...

I used to work for an ASI, but it was a market research company, not a dynastic patriot org. While I was there they did market research for commercials and TV shows. Married with Children bombed, but then it was on for eleven years. They downsized and moved all satellite offices to Bend Kansas.
