When does the citizenry of Olympia get to choose whether or not Oly needs or wants the local PMR?

I'm reacting to a post on another thread about how the cops are just hassling the PMR folks-

-I certainly don't need or want any more "activism" in Oly, esp. if what I get is paramilitary BS.

The PMR and "black hats" should strive to respect the neighbors who live in the communities they protest in, and I'm just not feeling the love.

People have a constitutionally protected right to associate

so, I'm not sure what "Oly" can do about it other than to provide a better alternative for the anti-war movement.
