You can never be sure, you can never fully trust the people you hire to govern, or the people to be governed. What do you do? I've decided this year to believe. To believe that our country can be healed. I've decided to come off the fence, and declare my support for Barack Obama

Please click on the image above, to see a bit more about why I've chosen to believe, against reasonable hope, perhaps, that our country can be united, and people can start to believe in the precepts of tolerance, welcoming immigrants of all nations, faiths, and ethnicities, and strong funded public education.

"The 'we' we've been waiting for to come and fix our problems is us!" It's time to take back control of this country, and put the scoundrels who have damaged our country into jail where they belong!

If you live in Washington, please attend your caucus today!

I'm Really Struggling

on who to vote for.  I know I don't want Clinton in the White House but I'm really torn between the other candidates...  It's almost so bad I'm tempted to just not vote at all!

Don't Want Clinton in the WH?

If you know that you don't want Clinton in the WH, then keep it simple and just vote for anyone else. My advice: Vote for Barack Obama, because his name starts with a "b".

Bizarre Comment

coming from you of all people Robert.

"My advice: Vote for Barack Obama, because his name starts with a "b"."

Why would I vote by alphabetical order over issues?  Why would anybody?

As for Obama, I'm just not confident he's ready to run a country successfully.  Talk is cheap and anybody can promise the world to win an election but delivering on all those campaign promises is a whole different story.

Look at the story about Clinton Touts Puget Sound Restoration As Top of Her List in the O today...  Then read the comments.  Everybody knows she's saying what she thinks we want to hear and then if she ever made it back to the White House she'd never give WA State or Puget Sound another thought.

Yeah, the experience thing

Obama has a good retort for that one though. He just says, "You know, the best resume in Washington, DC belongs to Dick Cheney." That pretty much settles it for a lot of people.

Great comeback!

I heard Clinton supporters at my caucus today throwing out the "Obama's lack of experience" card. My response is that we've had Howdy Doody and his puppetmasters running (and screwing up) the country for nearly eight years, and you're concerned about Barack Obama's level of experience?

I would be much more concerned about Hillary's good-looking, silver haired, silver tongued 200 lb. baggage being too heavy for her to carry into the White House.

You Mean

her 200 lb. baggage full of stuff they allegedly stole and destroyed before leaving!  LOL!

It would easier

If the candidates would name people to all of the cabinet positions.  In my opinion the president is nothing more than the 'talking head' for his advisors who I would assume are quite a bit smarter than he/she.

As for my candidate.............  To be continued.  (At this point I have no idea).  I'm going to agree with Ornery and state that I'm tired of Clinton's in power.  Time for a change.
